The Role

As Account Manager, you will support a range of clients looking to tell their Technology story to key audiences. You will play an important part in the development of communications programmes that address those client’s objectives and business priorities, from storytelling and narrative development to media relations and media training, stakeholder engagement, executive profiling, speaker programs, campaign development and execution, internal comms and issues and crisis management.

Your role will involve providing strategic counsel and having a good understanding of your clients’ business and pain points; you will contribute fresh perspectives and new ideas; challenge thinking and provide high-value guidance. You will play a key role in driving excellent client service and delivery of results across your portfolio of accounts.

While no two days are ever the same, you’ll primarily be involved in:

·         Working with the senior team to develop strategic client programs and proposals.

·         Supporting the team in the coordination of hub team activity; sharing account information and guidance with other team members in the wider network offices, as well as managing their timely feedback into hub team activities and reports.

·         Driving media coverage by proactively pitching and building relations with journalists

·         Working with senior stakeholders to generate speaker opportunities

·         Managing tailored features programmes

·         Identifying appropriate opportunities for the client within target media

·         Creating high quality briefing information for senior client spokespeople

·         Reporting and providing analysis on the results of online/offline activities.

·         Contributing to the management of client budgets; tracking, billing and communications.

·         Supporting and contributing to the identification of organic growth and new business opportunities.

·         Supporting our global technology specialists in London, globally and across the wider Omnicom network.
