This Marketing Coordinator position is a new role in the F1000 marketing team and provides a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in marketing within cutting-edge publishing, and gain wide experience and exposure in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. As part of a growing marketing team, there will be ample opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and develop in the role, with opportunities to progress in the organisation.

What you will be doing:

As the Marketing Coordinator in the F1000 Marketing department, you will report to the F1000 Marketing Director and work across the whole team to support the successful delivery of marketing campaigns to support our overarching strategy and goals.

Key tasks will include:

  • Supporting the whole marketing team across B2C marketing, partner marketing, content marketing, B2B marketing, and design, with campaign implementation across the whole marketing mix
  • Supporting the Marketing Director with key marketing tasks for the department and new projects and initiatives that are required to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in other departments such as Publishing, Strategic Initiatives, Editorial, and Commercial teams
  • Working on marketing for all of F1000’s publishing outlets including F1000 Research as well as our partner platforms and gateways, and collaborations with the larger Taylor & Francis group

What we are looking for:

  • A positive, can-do attitude; enthusiasm and excitement for what we do
  • Strong time management skills and record keeping experience & knowledge
  • Knowledge and ability with IT systems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point), web/cloud based databases, CMS, email creation platforms and/or other bespoke IT systems.
  • Willingness use to use and become familiar with a range of different systems
  • Able to demonstrate customer and commercial awareness – including the competitive environment, potential partner organisations and market trends.
  • Ability to follow agreed processes carefully, suggesting improvements where appropriate, and to keep accurate records
  • Some marketing experience or exposure to marketing (desired, not required)

This role can be based remotely although travel to our offices in London and Milton Park will be required.
