Position Summary:
Our studio is looking for a Midweight Graphic Designer. This candidate will be working within our design team and liaising closely with our internal account teams and external clients and will participate in all stages of the creative process to conceptualise and create assets that bring the program strategy to life in a variety of media. Consulting, conceptualising and executing design briefs across the agency.
You will advise on creative approaches, layout and format, and will oversee every aspect of production from briefings to sign-off. There may be times when you are required to participate in meetings and advise clients directly, as well as educating/managing stakeholders within the business including client leads and fellow creatives. From a new business perspective, you will play an active role in ideation, developing concepts and visual treatments to help bring our ideas to life, as well as conceptualising and formatting key PowerPoint decks.
This role is tailor-made for an exceptionally creative individual ready to assume Midweight responsibilities, guided and mentored by our Lead Designer and Executive Creative Director while collaborating closely with our talented design team. Previous agency experience is desirable, but what we value most is your fearless approach, raw talent and the potential to inspire.
Responsibilities:
1. PowerPoint Presentation Mastery: Push the boundaries of PowerPoint design, transforming information into digestible and engaging presentations
2. Internal Brand Guideline Development: Work collaboratively to establish and evolve our internal brand guidelines, ensuring cohesion and excellence in all visual materials
3. Client Proposal Collaboration: Partner closely with the Creative Director to ideate and craft visually striking mock-ups for client proposals, showcasing our fearless creativity
4. New Business Visual Presentations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create memorable presentations for potential new business opportunities, reflecting our fresh and innovative approach
5. Motion Design Expertise: Apply your advanced motion design skills to animate social media assets, presentations, and other materials, delivering engaging and dynamic content
6. Collaborative Creativity: Collaborate with our design team to generate innovative ideas, inspire creativity, and collectively elevate our visual storytelling
7. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design work adheres to our brand identity and values, upholding brand consistency and enhancing our visual identity.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Previous agency experience is desirable, but we prioritise raw talent, creativity, and the potential to excel in a midweight role
2. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and advanced motion design software/tools (After Effects)
3. Fearless Creativity: A fearless, brave and fresh approach to design, evident in your portfolio showcasing innovative PowerPoint presentations and motion design projects
4. Mentorship Readiness: Willingness to be mentored by our Lead Designer and Creative Director, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our design team
5. Project Management: Good project management skills, including multitasking, prioritisation, and meeting deadlines
